I am a list maker. I have my to-do lists all over the house, broken down for when they have to be done by.
But I have to admit that most of the time I get more satisfaction out of making the list then actually checking off the list.
That being said, that was before wedding planning entered my life. Now, I can’t seem to get enough of the official little check mark beside my list of “wedding things to-do”.
Even though our wedding date is set for September 10, 2011, when it comes to wedding planning, I have quickly learned that sooner is WAAAAYYYY better than later. There are so many big things that you have to book off the start, and unfortunately I haven't been able to procrastinate for long over them. And to add even more fun to that note, by fluke, we are getting married on a kitschy day (9-10-11) and I know that the biggies are gonna be booked up fast.
So without further ado: my wedding checking-listing so far:
Ceremony location booked? Check!
Reception hall booked? Check!
Marriage commissioner? Meet and greet scheduled? Check!
Photographer? Check!
Not a bad start I think.
By the end of the month I hope to add "the dress purchased/shortlisted" and "caterers booked" to that list. You know I'll keep you posted as soon as its done ;)
