We are smack dab in the middle of a heat wave...AND I LOVE IT!!! Conveniently, it's the perfect time to start some days off work too. My fingers are crossed the weather holds for another week so I can soak it all up!
I bitch all winter about the cold, so you can bet not a peep comes outta my mouth at times like this...although quite a few fellow Albertans are sure squaking about the heat!
Give it 16 weeks folks, and we will be shovelling ourselves out already!
The house was a tad stagnant and on the warm side today though after a few days of this heat. Being as we don't have a front screen door to enable a cross breeze, the next best thing was put up!
I can handle a bug or two in the house for a bit of movement in the air!

Of course it didn't stay up as long as I had hoped, as the dogs discovered it eventually. Thankfully, neither of them knocked it over and bolted though. But it did cause quite the commotion at the front door when passers-by wandered down the side walk!
