Now I have talked up Pinterest and all its greatness for being able to share the things we all love, I have found all these wonderful things that I want to craft up…and now have run into an issue: time!
When to do all these wonderful things? I work twelve hour shifts, 9 in the am until 9 at night. I get off work, eat, sleep wake up and do it all again. And then of course on days off, it’s playing catch up on all the things around the house!
Grrr! I just want to play!
I read a quote a few months ago: We always find time to do what we really want to do”. This is true to a point. Instead of watching tv for an hour, I could be upstairs in my Pink Wonderroom, crafting up a storm. But the thing with crafting: its all about the groove, man.
You can’t just craft for an hour…it usually takes me an hour to get started…find the inspiration; piece together the idea…then an hour later you actually start committing to the masterpiece.
Is it just me? Or do you find that once you get in “the groove”, three hours have gone by in a blink and you could go for another three? (Well except when you have to pee or refill your wine glass).
