Wonderfully Distracted

I have been neglecting my blog…and for good reason…we got a puppy!

It will be a busy, and probably sleep deprived few months, but we are so ridiculously happy to have a fur baby in the house!

When Weebo and I started to get really serious in our future together, we had two missions: house and puppies. Last spring we accomplished mission number one with our beautiful home and now we have accomplished both!

Well, sort of. We want “puppies” but figured we’d start with one at a time ;)

I have had my heart set on a Great Dane for more years than I can remember and knew that that would be the first dog that I would get, once given the chance.

I had been in touch with a breeder for the last two years, just letting her know who we were and that we were interested in the Dane’s that she breeds.

Weebo and I had decided that this spring we would expand our family, and so last week I sent “Sally” in Sangudo an email, asking if we could come out and meet her and her pack.

We didn’t think that we would be walking away with a puppy that day. But of course we both fell in love with him the second we saw him. And what a handsome, lovable, wonderful little boy he is!
