We (I) asked mom and dad for some china for Christmas this year. I love our china and the fanciness that it brings to the table. Even if it's just Weebo and I, I usually break it out a couple times a year.
For our wedding, we received two sets. So one for each of us but not enough to entertain another couple with. So hence the Christmas wish.
When mom got looking for it though, she discovered that it had been discontinued (of course it was). So I got googling. And managed to find some. So she got us two settings and we purchased two. Total six and now the next mission will be to find a different set that will compliment it.
Because there are few things that make me as happy as fancy :).
I broke it out for tonight's dinner: roasted chicken, carrots and potatoes. And brussel sprouts for me.
And if I may...Toot toot! One of the best roast chickens that I have made to date! Full bellies and a lazy Sunday evening now in this home!
