That's our new baby girls name... :)
It was a very serious hot tub conversation...(with maybe the bottle of red wine beside me)...a discussion of what we would name our new puppy.
At one point during said conversation, hubby threw out Betty Crocker...which I argued was "as bad as Aunt Jemimah!"
...Of course, that was a mistake...he thought that was a great name.
"No freeken way!" I said. "Then the neighbors will all be 'there is some crazy man out on his deck, yelling something about pancake syrup'"
Straight up: veto!
Nymira comes from a "character" from the hit best-selling books "Game of Thrones". The kids in the books come across a type of super-hybrid wolf litter that has been abandoned by their mother. One of the daughters named her pup Nymiria...I loved it as soon as I read it but thought to shorten it a bit...I managed to sell the name to my hubby and there you have it !
