Kitchen Nook Disaster DIY : Redo

If you have been following my little blog (for at least the last year), you would have seen this post , where I explained my whole Kitchen Nook Renovation Dream/Mission that I started last summer. 

We ripped out dead shrubberies. I moved A LOT of rocks.

This weekend, it as redone...the exact same way it already was. :(

I wanted new landscaping fabric to stop the weeds...pretty new edging (which I bought last year)....dirt maybe...flowers.

This weekend as I got all "Lets make it purdy!!!!" though, hubby totally vetoed me.

He did make a very good point though. 

(*see a few posts ago)...when it was mentioned that we need a totally new backyard renovation job...next year.

Why make it all purdy this year, just to rip it all out next summer and redo..times two?

Soooooo..5000 pounds of rocks were put back (minus landscape fabric because it will only be for *hopefully, a year).  No purdy edging. No dirt.

But we washed the rocks!??? They look purdy!

And I planted my pots and they will get all colorful lovely...and the peonies will be in full bloom in another month, so I kinda win...for a year at least!
