Brrrr!

Seriously….

In the words of my buddy:

Hey, Jack Frost? PISS OFF!

This seems like day 50 of minus 25º temperatures….not factoring in wind chills which puts us today at -31º!

The Albertan scuttle from your house to the car…then the bolt from the car to the store…back out to the car, hoping it hasn’t cooled off too much….another mad dash to the house…No wonder we kind of all go freekin' bananas when spring time hits!

The only thing that’s getting my through this horrid cold snap is that I can start counting down days until I leave for Mexico! When I booked the flight, it was like six months ago and seemed forever down the road (a lot like wedding planning ;) Now, it’s just about knocking on my door. I’m headed to Mazatlan with one of my nurses (co-worker) and can’t wait to soak in the sun and feel warm…even if it’s only for a week. Hopefully it will be enough to get me through until April!
