The Rat Race Continues

I have been sick...and tired. And though my mind has been going like bananas with all the things I have to be getting done, my body is just not cooperating.

After recovering from the bug that kicked my ass that I picked up in Mexico and then getting rear-ended...I ended up getting the flu the other day as soon as life started getting back to normal.

And don’t even get me going on my poor fiancé Weebo and the crappy time he has been going through. He has been at work for 4 ½ weeks and though we are looking at the home stretch now, it is taking all he has to get through it. He also picked up a bad bug and fought through shift work with it. Then he seems to have pinched his sciatic nerve...he is falling to pieces and unfortunately he does not get sick days L . We are just trying to truck through it.

With all the health battles, we are also in avid house hunting mode. That being said, it does make it a little harder when we are 3 hours apart. But we have found a realtor and he is sending us listings frequently. I did find one that I absolutely loved, but unfortunately so did someone else, as it sold quickly. The plan is to keep looking until Weebo gets home, and then we will (hopefully) be hitting the pavement next weekend to start walking through some houses.

Oh, and did I also mention that we are getting married this year too?! Ya...I knew I was loading my plate full this year and I seem to be juggling it ok so far. I just wish that we could catch a bit of a break so that we can get things back to normal.

Wedding planning is coming along. Got a good phone call in amongst all the insurance company calls (I hurt my back when I got rear-ended...what a pain in my ass this all is). The bridal shop called and told me my dress is in J Woot woot! So we have a marriage commissioner, I have a dress, we have a location to get married...if all else falls apart the most important parts are covered!

Oh! AND I have a willing groom ;)
