I feel guilty for neglecting my blogging but I do have a slight excuse…we found a house! And what a whirlwind the last week has been too! I can’t remember the last time that I was so stressed out. But then again, I have never wanted ANYTHING as bad as a home for us.
We walked through some awesome houses and some total dives, and finally found the house we were searching for. The same day that I saw it, we put in our offer and then it was the waiting game.
I have mentioned before that I am kind of an impatient person at times. Especially when it comes to something big and exciting as this. It seemed that the week would never end, and yet here we are, a day before closing date and all the conditions have been met!
We are so excited for this next adventure. To build a home together that is just what we want and what we have been talking about. All the great things that come with being a homeowner along with all the not so great. All the maintenance with all the rewards.
So I want to say thank you Weebo. For doing this with me. For holding my hand and listening to me stress. For always being my optimism when I am lacking it. For sharing this great adventure with me. For working so hard so that we can have the life together that we deserve and that we have been dreaming of.
The adventure has just begun.
