Checkidy-Check-Check

Wedding check listing continues. It’s now all coming down to the nit-picky things. (Its all in the small details isn’t it?)

I’m doing a lot of DIY projects for the wedding and I plan on getting it done this summer while I'm on holidays. I have started on the guest book, but that was put aside for packing and housing and all that jazz. I have a few more things to add to it and then it’s just a matter of getting engagement pictures done and back to me so I can finish it up. A little tweak here and there and it should be ready to roll.

I’m also still plugging away at favors. I am going to be doing them myself and I managed to find the perfect color cardstock for them. I grabbed all that was at the store, got home…counted and realized I was 30 sheets short. Of course, because life can’t be THAT easy, the store has now closed down and I am stuck with having to search for a close enough match. It will probably cost me more then the original paper (I found it for 3 sheets for a dollar which I can make 2 favors per sheet), but what can you do?

Another project I’m planning on is going to be a three foot (or so) tall folding screen to pin the table seating to. I’m really excited to start on this one, and hope that it comes together in reality as it is forming in my brain.

Mom and I managed to get the flower girl basket done (it looks incredible…thanks to ma and her kick-ass sewing skills) and the ring bearers pillows just need to be sealed up. They are looking great.

A card box is also another weekend project that I hope to get knocked out in the next few weeks. I found one online that I really liked so I’m kind of using that as inspiration and hope it all comes together.

The worst part of all this is that my LOYAL FOLLOWERS! will have to wait until September until I will post any pictures of all these cool wedding crafts. I don’t want to spoil the surprise for the guests! ;)

Can’t wait to finally get my craft room paradise put together and get happily crafting!

Cheers!

PS Two more sleeps till we are in our new home!! Woot wooot!!
