Brag a Bit

Now that the chaos has ended and the big day has happened...I am excited to get back to my long neglected blog and start typing away again.

The best part about post-wedding blogging? I finally get to do wedding craft show and tells! The anticipation of being able to show off my crafting has been killing me and I'm so happy to finally be able to post some of the things that I did for the big day.

Starting with the ceremony and ending with the party, I will be updating as often as I can, to showcase some of the before and afters of everything.

When I fist started crafting again, I started with scrap booking. That kept me entertained for about a month and the monotony of it started to bore me something fierce. After some time wasted Googling, I discovered “altered art”… the art of taking something everyday, and “funkifying” it into something original. Everything from turning Pringles chips containers into pencil crayon containers to altering envelopes into albums. I find this makes my creative juices get going and find it a much free-er from of crafting.

So I took a note from the altered world, and got going on wedding decor. Some of it is altered art, some is straight up made from hand and some of it was a bit of both.

So stay tuned! Cant wait to show off a bit ;)
