Super Balls

It’s that time already. When you walk out the front door in the morning and the chill just starts that tickle that goes right to your bones.

Winter? She be a-knockin.

I have mentioned before that I am much more of a hot weather woman than a snow-bunny one. And to know that this winter thing is just starting, makes me a little sad.

About the only thing that excites me is getting to celebrate our first Christmas as husband and wife and our first Christmas in our beautiful home. Waking up at Christmas with my husband, and starting our own traditions.

And I gotta tell you…I may be a wee-bit excited GETTING TO DECORATE THE HOUSE FOR THE SEASON! I literally can’t wait to get into the Christmas zone!

I got all ambitious last week and got all my fall decor out. I love how much it’s added to the house. I have my mantle all decorated in fall flowers, and gourds all over the place. Vases overflowing with fall bouquets…sigh…I may not like the bite in the fall air, but I sure love all the colors.

And then, before you know it, its time to break out the all the little ghouls and goblins, and welcome Halloween. I have a few new crafts that I want to find time to do, so stay tuned for those ;)

And then…it’s Christmas!! Weebo and I have already talked about how many Christmas trees will adorn the house because as far as we are concerned, you can never have too many Christmas trees! We decided on a final number of three LOL.

 

I was at Costco the other day and finally got to buy my “Super Balls”, to hang-on and bling-out your outdoor trees! They are about the size of a cantaloupe…sparkly…festive and so much fun! As soon as I saw them I knew I MUST HAVE THEM!

Weebo told me to buy enough to stuff my moms van. I’m not going to lie…I was tempted. But common sense prevailed and I only bought two packs (but that’s still 16 SUPER BALLS!!!)

So I will try and welcome the change of seasons with open arms, and if I get too overwhelmed, I will walk out to the garage and stare…just stare…well maybe caress…and swoon over my pretty, sparkly SUPER BALLS!
