Autumn Color

So after that last post, I thought that I would come home and snap some pictures of the house and all the purdy color that we got going on.

As I mentioned, there is the mantel:

I made that brown witch on the corner years ago in a pottery class I took in Jr. High. There is a scarecrow on the opposite end of the mantle.

And there are some pretty vases: (I have been battling/working on my flower arranging skills for a long time now...most of the time this takes hours of work and lots of swearing. And they still need ALOT of improvement!)

My splurge at Michaels…toooooo beautiful to resist:

And then, just to add that splash of color and some sporadic little doodads, just waiting to be discovered:
