Yes…yes I am!
(...well, just a second…a quick Google if I may… depending on the definition that you look at for “gilded”... As per freedictionary.com, one definition is “To cover with or as if with a thin layer of gold” and the other is “To smear with blood”. I like the gold definition more… obviously...the blood one is a bit…weird. And how I wish it was a true statement (the gold one, not the blood one) cause then I’d be rich…but I digress…)
Meemaw had been telling me about this blog that she’s been following for a while now, and the membership that she signed up for. I got all intrigued and looked into it one night. Well, that was it for me and I was hooked.
I am now a proud member of the Gilded Girls Stash Society. J
The ladies over there have created the dreamiest, most fabulous crafts imaginable. Their blog is full of wonderful treats and inspiration. And then to make things even better, if you join the Gilded Girls, they send you a wonderful package of the loveliest collection of lush fabric and sparkly’s and glitter and glamorous trim....doodads and bling! Sigh! Dreamy!
You sign up and get a package (for a small fee of course) every month for minimum of three months (longer if you get hooked). And the greatest part is that they post inspirational crafts that they have made with items in each package.
After a series of very unfortunate events, my package finally made it into my HAPPY hands the other day. The wait was worth it, as the treasures were better than I could have imagined.
The only thing that made me a little sad was the huge delay on my package finding me. Upon seeing the “preview” of what was going to be coming in my November package, I had already thought up a wonderful Christmas craft. Because it got to me so late, I had to come up with plan B. BUT! You can best be sure that I will still be making it…I just may end up keeping it for myself hehe so I guess that it turned out ok in the end ;)
Huge props and thank you’s to Heather over at Gilded Girls, for being so patient and helpful with my MIA package! Unfortunately the issue wasn’t resolved fast enough to get it sorted before she shipped my December package, but I know (hope) it will eventually find me.
Check out their blog. They make truly stunning, sparkly and glamorous goodies ;)
Cheers!
