Bout Friggen Time

It’s the last day of March but at last here I am. No more excuses...and sorry for the delay ;)

Today its about time to finally show off the lovely Valentines Crafts that I made.
 
The first one is the gift that I made Meemaw. I altered up a discarded chocolate box and stuffed it full of all kinds of fun doodads and treats for her:

Next, the gift I made for the love of my life, Weebo. Again, I altered a heart shaped box, this time choosing one of those wooden ones from Dollarramma.

Inside was the real gift, an idea that I have seen all over the crafting blogs: 52 Reasons Why I Love You. Made from a deck of cards, each one has a personal message for him. It was really fun to make and can be made for any person in your life: your mom, dad, grandma, best friend…endless and personal.

Some of the blogs I checked out that had this idea, joked that that hardest part is coming up with 52 reasons ;) I didn’t think that was the hard part. It was the time spent in preparing all the cards, as each one was painstakingly distressed and colored. Good thing there was good TV on the night! LOL!

 And of course, because I know that my love LOVES his sweets, I put it all in a basket and loaded with enough chocolate to possibly (probably not) last him until Easter.
