I cannot believe that just over one year ago, I married the man of my dreams. My heart. My best friend. It seems like the last year has just flown by and that our wedding was only yesterday!
My man was out of town working on our “actual” one year day,
but it just so happened that I was off work that day. So off I went to see him,
and we spent some time together in the booming metropolis of Vermilion Alberta!
LOL!
He is home now and we (I) have a busy weekend planned for us. Saturday
will be a yard work kinda day. With him home, its time to get some big jobs done and start
prepping for the fall.
And then I have a fansy-pants “China Dinner” planned for that
night.
For a wedding gift we received two settings of our China pattern
that I like to pull out and get all fancy with every now and again. So with
some help from a fantastic sounding Julia Childs recipe that I am trying for the
first time, some pretty dishes and candlelight, we will be having a wonderful, quiet and romantic dinner at home Saturday night.
We also made reservations on Sunday to head out to a local restaurant
that I have heard a lot of great things about and have been wanting to check
out: The Melting Pot.
Two romantic dinners in one weekend! WootWoot!!
I will let you know how the Julia recipe turns out and if it's
worth sharing!
Cheers!
Happy one Year !
