Seven Days of Pinterest: Day One

I have decided to pay tribute to one of the best time killing pastimes since FarmVille (I know…it was a phase...don’t judge.)

Pinterest!

 

I have “pinned” quite a few things on various boards. I have spent many a few hours surfing though others "Pins". On that note, I would like to say right here and now: I am not one of those "I just pin for shits and giggles" people. I actually do some of the things that I pin!

So I bring to you: Seven whole days of my take on Pinterest musings.

(Soooo I'm not going to lie…I may not post them Monday-Friday seven days kinda deal…it may even take me two weeks to find some/them…and some I am ripping off of my own blog because I have previously posted them. BUT!  I will definitely put up seven of them over a span of “x” days!)

I am inspired to do this post because of a few websites that I have found showing epic Pinterest fails (pintester.com and pinstrosity.blogspot.ca being my faves).

Happily, I have had no major failures to report thus far…unless you count the Pot-Pourri epic f@*k up which I don’t cuz it was the operator and not the operation that did me in.

So may I present… 

Day One:

How to clean the stove top

Instructions were found here.

 

I tried it. Followed the recipe to a T…and it worked...meh. Comparing what the stove top looked like before (and I wish I have taken that picture...oops!) and the after results? I probably coulda got it cleaner with a lil bit of elbow grease.

 

I haven’t admitted total defeat yet though. ill give it another try and let the baking soda percolate a bit longer. It did get up about half of the grundoons, so hopefulyl take two makes it squeaky clean.

On a scale of 1-10...I give this Pin a 6.
