All Fenced In

The other day? When I was mentioning our To Do list and how they always grow?  Well, I had failed to put two important things on that list: shingle the shed and build a fence.

After the whole “lets make a gate” adventure last summer, I was a bit nervous about tackling another fence/gate, but I am happy to report that hubby built us a very fine fence this weekend!

We have a dog…a small pony of dog, who has been safely penned in the backyard for the last year... by two thin metal posts and chicken wire.

We knew it was a quick “temporary” fix and only a matter of time before he clued in that all it would take was a nose or paw, barely sweeping...nay! grazing across said chicken wire and he would be out and free to happily gallop through the neighborhood.

Thankfully…the fence was built before he learned this.

And a mighty fence it is!

Side Note: Yes…there is a board missing. We miscalculated. That will be fixed this week. And yes…it needs paint. Give us time here folks! We are good but not superheroes yet!
