He's Yelling Timber

As mentioned before, thanks to one small pony of a dog, our backyard is currently in not the greatest condition. 

Hubby and I have had many a serious  conversation as to what to do with it and if things go as planned for the next 8-10 months, next summer will be "Mission Backyard."

To start this mission, this summer is all about tree removal. 

Gotta love how people plant all these trees when they are little...having no common sense as to how big they will grow. Not were they maintained and pruned to keep them in check. 

Our backyard is a decent size...Medium I would say. And in it originally: 4 cedars, 3 spruce, 2 huge junipers and a fugly mugel pine. 

Out comes two of three spruce, two of four ceders and a fugly mugel pine!

We started and 4/5 are gone! Go us!
