Stumbling With Scissors: Ten in One

Summer seems to be going by way too fast again...why is that?

Winters seem to never end but once the nice weather comes, it seems that the countdown always starts as you try to squeeze every last drop in.

I had some vacation time last week and it was wonderful to get away from work and the world for a bit!

Due to the fact that I cannot "block" anyone from my blog, I chose not to post for the week...I don't really want to advertise to the "big bad internet world" that we are not home.

(BTW: given that choice, I wouldn't want to block anyone from my blog...the more people that stumble on my little blog, the happier I am!)

So even though I did not post for that week....I am making it up to you! My weeks worth of pictures in one day!

Camping trip to Brazeau Dam

Day 1-our waterfront camp-site and amazing view

Day 2-Momma's cooking up dinner! BBQ steak, roasted potatoes...and you can't forget Drunken Mushrooms!

Day 3-Out for a family cruise lol. Checking out the dam and doing a little 4x4ing through the country!

Day 4- Our brave dogs checking out the water... the big one is definitely not a swimmer...more of a "wader". The little one has yet to decide how she feels about it!

Tuckered out and tucked in for the drive home

Day 5-Off at the cabin for some good summer fun! No leashes, no loud neighbours and much further from the real world!

....I think this is the last time she will fit on my lap in a lawn chair ;)

Day 6- We sent Weebo off to bring home the bacon, as I relaxed in the sunshine!

Cold beer, an amazing view and a great book! LG!

Two very pooped and very smelly dawgs, who are very content to have their own beds back!

Day 9-Sadly...my beautiful and luscious petunias did not stand up to the lovely sunshine as well as I did..

Very sad :(

Day 10- Got the dawgs washed, the plants watered, and all the camping gear unpacked...time for momma to cuddle up on the couch and watch some of the greatest reality entertainment EVER!
