The Month of Love‏

A gal at work noticed me surfing the net (briefly) the other day and asked if I decorate for Valentines. “O HELLS ya!” I answered back enthusiastically. I haven’t always been a Love Day fan, and I can honestly say that my tune didn’t change just because I found love. It’s all Meemaw’s fault. All due to the friendly completion that we started doing when we lived together….little presents for all the holidays that we crafted/built/assembled for each other. And o! how I have fallen for Valentine’s day.

I made a few crafties last year, which I showed off here and I hope to craft some more with all the new Guilded Girls goodies that I got in the mail the other day J

So here is what I came up with to add to my Valentines decorating.

The mantle was assembled on pieces that I made last year and of course added to this year. (PS...this was my romantic valentines evening...spent alone due to Weebo’s work scheduled. I did have the Grey’s Anatomy cast though to keep me company lol) The beautiful framed words on the left was discovered on Pinterest. Free printable here J

The banner hanging across the front...OK. I will admit, it’s a bit cheesy but who doesn’t love a bit of cheese? Especially for Love Day!

I made the cute bobbles thanks to wonderful inspiration from an idea that I found here.

As for the crafty presents that I made for my sweetheart and Meemaw (to keep up with our friendly completion ;)...Well, I will have to wait to post those pictures. My Sweets is out of town working and I don’t want to spoil any surprises!
